3rd SABA Championship 2015- Favourites India & Sri Lanka off to flying starts

Playing with poise and purpose, the senior Indian men’s basketball team (also known as the ‘Young Cagers’) steamrolled past Himayalan neighbours Nepal in their opening game of the 3rd SABA Championship 2015. The 3rd South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) Championship 2015 is being played from 3rd to 5th July at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in India’s IT city of Bengaluru.

School Girls’ Final – Government School for Girls, Ludhiana v. Santhome School, Chennai

Kiranjit Kaur from Ludhiana was awarded the Most Valuable Player in this division. Gagandeep Kaur from Ludhiana received the Best Defender award, while Ria Sharon from Santhome School, Chennai from Rajasthan College received the Rising Star award.
